When John Lennon's your best friend...

If I ever make a biography, it should be entitled that. "When John Lennon's your best friend...". Best male friend, that is. When he is, you cry a lot. After all, your best friend's dead. He was dead 12 years before I even was born. He'd probably never talk to me even if he was still alive. But I feel he's my friend. He's that guy who'd take care of me. He'd be that tough guy who'd stick up to me. He'd help me with all my problem. We'd have a great time singing, laughing and playing together. Me and John Lennon. Perhaps once Paul McCartney will be a good friend of mine as well... At least I felt that way after having been to one of his shows.

Blog This! NOW!

If nothing else, must I say that the "Blog this!" button is quite handy when it comes to blogging with Blogger. I mean, any link can be posted quick as anything. I just used it for this post because I was too lazy to actually go to Blogger.com and fix everything.

Wish Blogger came with some kind of desktop program as well, both to Windows and Linux. Probably is a lot of Mac users out there who also wants some kind of desktop program too, so throw in that as well then. Just give us a lot of apps or programs or something, Google!

First day in the field

Well, today was my first day "out in the field" with my work. No sales today, it was raining hard at times, the rain coat my boss had given me had no hood, and a competitor had already been on all the doors a couple of days ago. So...it was fun. No, well, the job itself wasn't all that fun today, but I did get to know two more guys from work. I liked talking to both of them, and do believe I've become almost what you can call "friends" with one of them.

I got home at around 11 PM tonight, so it took quite a lot of time of my day, but it was still a valuable lesson, no matter what'll happen later in life. Doors are not as scary as you may think. There's only people behind them (and dogs)!

"Good" morning

Damn, do I feel awful today. Feels like someone's been using me to practice their boxing skills tonight, then gave me a diarrhea and then stuck a slime ball down my throat. Ain't too good, but at least I might be slightly less stressed today than I've been...well, the last week. That'll come in handy for my shoulders, as they've been hurting me a lot because of the stress they've been through.

Will go ahead and make myself a nice resumé once I get back from work today, if, of course, I'm not half-dead at that time (which might be likely). Gotta get myself a job with better working hours and more stability.

Best Unreleased Bootlegs - Rate Your Music

Best Unreleased Bootlegs - Rate Your Music

This is a good list to some of the (as the title says) "best unreleased bootlegs" there are. It's not made by me, but someone I know a bit (though not under this alias) and I like it quite a lot. Have yet to check them all out yet though.

Words

I like to make words that are like poetry. Like love. Like perfection. I want to be an artist of words, though I at times tend to be too tired to be an artist, a wizard, a poet. Either that or music. Music is the most beautiful word in the world, though it is deceitful. Music is love. Love is real

Dinner

I like dinner. Now I will sleep.

As In Heaven, As In Hell

"The money feels good
And your life you like it well
But surely your time will come
As in heaven, as in hell"
-The Clash, "The Guns Of Brixton", from their album "London Calling" from 1979.

Hello everyone. I'm not new. No, my name is to be found both here and there. I'm especially much online at Twitter. I'm also a blogger. Mainly, I use Twitter and WordPress, though I've been lazy at both platforms the last couple of months. I'll try to improve myself on all my platforms from now on, though I live a busy life. I travel by train a lot, and I do tend to like to start writing blog posts whilst travelling.

You might also find my name in a lot of Linux (especially Ubuntu) related matter. There's also a lot of people claiming I'm an author when it comes to this subject, though I must say, this I have no knowledge of myself. It always surprises me to see people say I'm one of the author's of some Ubuntu website or something. But I do at times use Ubuntu and have a strong love for that OS.

Most likely I will not blog about Linux much at all though. I'm not going to lie to you, though. This blog is going to be ME. By that, I mean that I'll post whatever interests me here, I'll make the design my own baby, and everything'll be by me, not some kind of figure that's made up to try to suit someone else's style.

With that in mind, I hope to see a lot of traffic on my blog, a lot of comments and that some people get to know each other as well as myself here. Oh, and be nice!

-S.L.
